Woohoo! We are excited to kick off our Nose to Tail Dinner Series! Eric McClam Farm Manager at City Roots and Vanessa Driscoll from the event planning compnay The Southern Greenie are excited to host this series and work with thier favorite Chefs around town. 

Our first Chef you know from the Harvest Dinners, @116 Espresso and Wine Bar and now @116 Express inside Salty's. Chef Ryan Whittaker is going to take his talents at creating fantastic food and a laid back atmosphere to another level. This time it is going to be a pig pickin on the farm. Chef Ryan will prepare a whole hog Nose to Tail and other locally fresh sides for your pleasure. He will be preparing a heritage hog from local farmer Gra Moore from Carolina Heritage Farms!

Nose-to-Tail dinners have seen a rise in popularity over the last few years as they not only generally make use of the increasingly popular heritage breeds, but also require the chefs to be innovative and economical in their use of the animal--all to the benefit of the dinner guest. Every three months a local Chef will partner with a local farm to cook an animal from nose to tail. Each dinner will be the Chefs choice and could range from a pig pickin to plated courses! All dinners will be held at City Roots Farm! 

We will have a cash bar with beer and wine and live music! Tickets will be $17 in advance and $20 at the door.
